Ari is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who completed his doctorate in clinical psychology at Antioch University Seattle and his undergraduate degree at Michigan State University. While attending Antioch his clinical training in psychological assessment and treatment included several years at an outpatient clinic providing psychotherapy for a broad range of mental health needs. As a postdoctoral psychologist he completed additional training at a private practice in Seattle specializing in medically complex cases. Ari has resided in Chicago since 2019. He completed his fellowship in clinical psychology at a trauma-focused therapy clinic for families on the westside of the city, and then served there as a lead clinician and supervisor. At Mindful Solutions, he provides therapy with individuals and families.
Ari provides a highly relational style of psychotherapy. He works to create an empathic space for clients to explore and improve their relationships with themselves and others, process emotional experiences, and modify beliefs that are influencing their behaviors. He has a collaborative therapy approach focused on helping clients achieve their goals.
Ari’s clinical interests include therapy with adults who are working through trauma and grief, managing mood disorders, and navigating family and work stressors. He provides therapy with families working to improve communication, handle strong emotions, and set healthy boundaries. With all therapy, his aim is to help clients turn challenges into opportunities for growth and success.
Ari is a full member of the American Psychological Association (APA). He is a member of APA Society for Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychology (Division 39) and the Society for Theoretical and Philosophical Psychology (Division 24).
Ari received his Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Antioch University Seattle. He completed his clinical training in psychotherapy and his doctoral internship at Antioch Community Counseling and Psychology Clinic in Seattle, and his postdoctoral internship at Neighborhood Psychology in Seattle. He completed his Fellowship in Clinical Psychology at a community mental health clinic on the westside of Chicago.
Ari currently accepts Blue Cross PPO, self-pay, and can provide Superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.
Ari is licensed in Illinois and accepts clients for virtual and in-person sessions.
